The shared vision of collective partners is to work in partnership to provide individuals and employers with the highest quality and widest range of work based learning provision in the North East
Partners have agreed that the purpose of the Collective is to:
• Grow our market
• Create synergies between partner organisations to add value, create efficiencies and generate additional revenue
• To provide a focal point for provision – improving the image and perception of Work Based Learning
• To influence the Learning agenda across Tyne and Wear, particularly within Gateshead
The Collective does not hold training / delivery contracts and its income is derived from:
• Members fees and contributions
• External funding for collaborative activities (joint bids for single programme, LSC funds etc)
The Collective has a formal constitution, which embraces its values.
Members have developed a business plan including a clear accommodation strategy and policies for collaboration across sectors.
